Traveling Home

March 4 & 5

After feeding us breakfast, Roberto gave us a ride to the airport outside Huatulco. We had a short flight to Mexico City where we got on a bus to Leon. Because we had flown into Leon, it was easier and cheaper to fly home from there as well. So we enjoyed a 4 1/2 hour non-stop bus trip to Leon. We got a taxi to our hotel, which was really a kind of studio apartment building, which you could rent long term or short term, as you wish. We walked a few blocks to a nice restaurant, where we had supper sitting on a roof-top terrace. Very nice. Then in the morning, we had the same taxi driver, take us the 1/2 hour trip out to the airport to catch our first flight of the day. We flew Leon to Houston, Houston to Denver, and then Denver to Saskatoon. The Denver to Saskatoon flight was delayed so instead of getting into Saskatoon at 11:00 pm, we arrived around 12:30! But Kalindi was there to meet us and we went home with her and crashed into bed. This morning we got up and drove home thru the snow. Back to winter!! A good trip with lots of interesting experiences.
