Last Day in Huatulco

This morning we went out for breakfast because Roberto and Bianca weren't up yet. He said he was hung over from the party last night. We found a nice breakfast buffet at a little Mexican hotel down the main street. Then Don went over to Intrada Beach for his last snorkel. He said it lived up to its reputation as a good place to snorkel. I did some walking around the area, checking out a street I had wondered about. It goes up a big hill to the hotels and condos on the top - I did it very slowly, cuz it seemed hot already and I didn't want to sweat too much.
Once we met up again at the hotel, we ate leftover bread and cheese from the party for lunch. We just cooled it all afternoon and then went downtown for our last supper here. We went to Terracotta restaurant, which was good, but a little pricey. Then we tried out the new rage in ice cream, Helados Fritos. This place lets you choose what flavours you want to put together, makes a milkshake of those flavors, and then freezes it into ice cream in a very cold pan, which takes 3 minutes. They said the pan was -40 degrees, I think they must use liquid nitrogen to get it so cold so fast. It wasn't the best ice cream I've ever eaten, but it is an interesting idea.

Just before we leave here, I thought I'd show you the kind of attention to detail that occurs in the building process. The floors have designs inlaid with rocks around the edges, and places you might slip if wet - like coming out of the shower. Very cool for cement floors.
